Where we are
Hotel Anastasia boasts an extremely central location, close to Piazza San Marco, in a quiet, small square where the elegant three-storey building that holds one of the most comfortable 3 star hotels in Venice faces.
Choosing Hotel Anastasia will immediately take you to the timeless atmosphere of the historic center, only a short distance separates you from the monumental facade of the Basilica of San Marco and from the Gothic outline of Palazzo Ducale.
Strolling about Piazza San Marco, stopping in one of its historic caffés, gives you unforgettable feelings which you cannot relinquish: history, culture and art will relentlessly seduce you!
Amongst the elegant rooms of Hotel Anastasia and the square you will find calle Larga XXII Marzo for some excellent brand-name shopping in the best boutiques, followed by the varied mercerie (or haberdashery shops) that take you to Rialto, where you will find the Prefecture and the courthouse.
Rialto! The Rialto Bridge, the market of Rialto, the erbaria (or herbarium) of Rialto! A magical and fascinating place that, despite the great flow of tourists each year, still preserves the soul of the more authentic Venice, amongst the classical cicchetto (snack), the spritz (cocktail drink) and the lively fish, fruit and vegetable stands…
Once you have arrived at the Santa Lucia trainstation, use line 1 of the ferryboat and get off at San Marco/Vallaresso (25 minutes), continue on calle Vallaresso, turn left keeping the Church of San Moisè to your side, pass the bridge with the same name and you will find yourselves in Corte Barozzi, where Hotel Anastasia welcomes you.
